The Rod BOP is typically selected for mounting between a tubing head and a flanged wellhead drive in a new well installation, provides studded flanged connection for rigid and safe support of the wellhead drive. The flow-tee includes two side ports, typically one for the production fluids and the other to gauge pressure, take sample fluids, flush the well etc. The top studded flange connecting includes a box thread LP port to be used when servicing the rod string.
